The Northeast Asian Arts and Cultural Management Association (NAACMA) is an international not-for-profit scholarly association devoted to the promotion of research in arts and cultural management, cultural policy, arts funding and law, leadership, management marketing, human resources, administration, global arts and cultural management industry, and publication of global arts and cultural management research.

 

Objectives

The objectives of the NAACMA are:

  • To stimulate health research, specifically in the areas of the international field.
  • To promote the study of global arts and cultural management through the publication of scholarly works and the sponsorship of conferences.
  • To provide timely and objective analysis of, and concrete solutions to, a wide range of international arts and cultural management problems.
  • To produce and distribute knowledge of global issues that are of exceptional interest to academics, arts and cultural management businesses, and other leaders of society to shape global, regional, and industry agendas.
  • To provide a platform for networking, access to information, and learning; to contribute to a better understanding of global issues.

In this regard, NAACMA holds two conferences each year – one in the summer and one in the winter – all over the world.

 

History and Background

The NAACMA was founded in 2024 by a prestigious group of academics and professionals. The organization’s goals are to provide resources to scholars and practitioners in international and related fields and to promote communication between them. NAACMA will be expanded to include research units from academic institutions around the globe in the future.

 

Conference and Publication

NAACMA membership is open to everyone, and you are welcome to join and enjoy the benefits. The Institute is currently publishing one academic journal (Journal of Northeast Asian Arts and Cultural Management) as well as six sister journals (Journal of Global Business and Trade, Journal of Asia Trade and BusinessJournal of East Asian TradeJournal of International Trade & Commerce, Journal of Northeast Asian Business and Economics, and Journal of East Asian Health). A scholar or professional interested in arts and cultural management, cultural policy, arts funding and law, leadership, management marketing, human resources, administration, global arts and cultural management industry around the world is welcome to join and attend NAACMA conferences, which are held twice a year, as well as submit their research to its journal.
